Recover a lost bib
A rider who never signed in and lost their phone can’t re-attach their bib themselves.
Re-issuing clears the lost phone’s secret so they re-claim the same bib — name, route, and
positions survive. (Signed-in riders recover automatically.)
Move a rider to another route
The corral reality: a rider cutting to the shorter route hands a volunteer their
phone. Riders can switch twice on their own in the app; this path has no limit — it’s the
escape hatch. Forward-only: past positions keep their old projection, everything from the switch
projects onto the new route (the progress bar re-bases, honestly).
Routes
Tap a label or stop name to rename it in place. Deleting is refused while riders
are assigned (routes) or passages are stamped (stops).
Add a route
Drop in a published ride route (GPX or TCX). We simplify the track to a
clean centerline, build the start/finish gates, and turn waypoints into ordered rest-stop checkpoints.
Export a TCX Course if your planner offers one — it carries the cuesheet, so riders get
your turns with their street names instead of ones we work out from the shape of the route.
